Thank you for choosing Toplancer.io! We understand that sometimes things change, and you may need to cancel your project. We want to make the process as smooth as possible for you, so here is our cancellation and refund policy:

 

Cancellation

You can cancel your project at any time before work begins. To cancel your project, simply contact your freelancer and let them know. They will then need to confirm the cancellation with Toplancer.io.

If you cancel your project after work has begun, you may be liable for any fees that have already been incurred. We will work with you and your freelancer to determine a fair outcome.

Here are some examples of situations where you may be liable for fees after work has begun:

  • You have already paid your freelancer for some work, and they have completed that work.
  • Your freelancer has already begun working on your project, and they have incurred costs that cannot be recovered.
  • You cancel your project for a reason that is not related to the freelancer’s performance.

 

Refunds

If you cancel your project before work begins, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your project after work has begun, you may be eligible for a partial refund, depending on the circumstances.

To request a refund, please contact Toplancer.io customer support. We will review your request and contact you within 2 business days.

Here are some examples of situations where you may be eligible for a partial refund:

  • You cancel your project because of a breach of contract by your freelancer.
  • You cancel your project because of a force majeure event.
  • You cancel your project after work has begun, but the freelancer has not yet completed a significant portion of the work.

 

Exceptions

There are a few exceptions to our cancellation and refund policy:

  • If you have purchased a custom service, such as a website design or a logo design, you may not be eligible for a refund.
  • If you cancel your project after work has begun, and the freelancer has already completed a significant portion of the work, you may not be eligible for a refund.
